What to do with extra china and vases

Many of us have collected glass bowls, china and vases over the years either on our own or as hand me downs from parents and grandparents.  I try to use what I have laying around as often as I can but find the majority of sits on the shelf.   Millennials and younger folks don’t want to be burdened with multiple generations of  “fancy” china and serving pieces and it has little value at estate or yard sales.  Someone far more creative than me has come up with a fun way to repurpose this glassware into yard art.

With some strong all-purpose glue that can bond glass to glass applied to the base of the vase, you just stick the inside of the bowl right on and voila, yard art!  You can also use plates to make decorative flowers.  It may not be a Chihuly but it will bring some fun to your outdoor space

You can also use glassware and china to make bird baths or bird feeders.
